Russian companies satisfied with quality of Belarusian foods

SLUTSK, 30 September (BelTA) – Belarusian food products meet all the quality requirements. The opinion was voiced by Svetlana Lapshina, Director General of the Russian baking company Arkhangelskkhleb, during the Business Cooperation Forum in the Belarusian town of Slutsk on 30 September, BelTA has learned.

The head of the Russian company said: “We actively work with Belarusian companies. We buy raw materials for our manufacturing division because your products meet our quality requirements. We are ready for cooperation in processing and in selling ready-made products because we have a retail chain of our own.”

In turn, Mikhail Mamonov, Director General of the Russian group of companies Domestic Products, member of the Board of the Bryansk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also expressed readiness for establishing business ties. “We learned some information about Slutsk District companies during the forum today. The information will contribute to our cooperation,” he was convinced.

The Business Cooperation Forum took place in Slutsk, Minsk Oblast on 30 September. The event was timed to the celebration of the 900th anniversary of the town's foundation. The event was organized to advance interregional cooperation, trade, economic, and manufacturing cooperation ties, and help the participants find new business partners. Among other people representatives of Russian and Estonian companies took part in the forum. The forum was organized by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Slutsk District administration.
