Russia to lift ban on products of several Belarusian enterprises

MOSCOW, 22 May (BelTA) – Russia and Belarus have agreed that the ban on the supplies of agricultural products of a number of Belarusian enterprises will be lifted, Russian Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev said in an interview with the Russia 24 TV Channel.

“The talks have just finished. We have thoroughly discussed with the Belarusian side different approaches and mutual complaints. Today we have lifted the ban on the products of two meat processing plants that will supply mostly beef to the Russian market, and seven dairy farms that will export whole-milk products to Russia,” the minister said.

He noted that the possibility of lifting the import ban on the products of the remaining Belarusian enterprises will be considered in some 7 to 10 days.
