MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – The Russian food quality watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor is inspecting Belarusian producers of champignons, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
“Rosselkhoznadzor representatives jointly with specialists of the Main State Inspectorate for Seed Production, Quarantine and Plant Protection of Belarus have launched checks on Belarusian companies producing champignons. A one-week inspection is held to regulate supply issues,” the ministry said.
Rosselkhoznadzor introduced temporary restrictions on the import of champignons from Belarus starting from 24 July.
