Revenues of Belarus' central state budget at Br11.5bn in H1 2018

MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Revenues of the central state budget totaled Br11.5 billion in Belarus in H1 2018, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Finance Ministry website.

The surplus of the central state budget reached Br2.7 billion. The budget of the state administration sector amounted to Br3.4 billion.

The surplus of the Social Protection Fund budget reached Br0.3 billion, that of the Universal Service Fund – Br13.2 million, the Civil Aviation Fund – Br6.2 million, the Punishment Execution Department Fund – Br0.3 million.

Revenues of the state administration sector budget totaled Br24.4 billion in January-June 2018, 53.2% as against the revised annual target.

Revenues of the central state budget totaled Br11.5 billion, 54.9% as against the revised annual target. Proceeds from VAT amounted to Br5.1 billion (50.7%), profit tax – Br1.2 billion (37%), excise duties – Br1.2 billion (50.6%). Revenues from foreign trade operations totaled Br2.7 billion, 71.5% as against the revised annual target.

Revenues of the Social Protection Fund totaled Br6.7 billion, 49.5% as against the revised annual target. Revenues of the Universal Service Fund amounted to Br20.2 million (52.5%), revenues of the Civil Aviation Fund – Br16.3 million (78.7%), revenues of the Punishment Execution Department Fund – Br0.4 million (33.3%).

As of 1 July 2018 arrears on tax and duty payments stood at Br164.4 million.

In H1 2018 the state administration sector budget spent Br21 billion, 46.5% as against the revised annual target. The central state budget spent Br8.8 billion (43.5%). As much as Br3.4 billion (35.4%) was spent on nationwide activities, Br2.3 billion (54.5%) on financing the national economy, Br6.8 billion (48.3%) on financing the social sphere (social policy, education, healthcare, physical training, sport, culture, and mass media).

The Social Protection Fund spent Br6.4 billion (47.8% as against the revised annual target), the Universal Service Fund – Br7 million (18.2%), the Civil Aviation Fund – Br10.1 million (48.7%), the Punishment Execution Department Fund – Br0.1 million (8.3%).
