MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) - The preparation of Belarus' national stand for China Import Expo 2018 was discussed in Shanghai on 14 June, BelTA from the Belarusian Consulate in the Chinese city.
These issues were in the spotlight of the meeting between Belarusian Consul in Shanghai Valery Matsel and representatives of the Bureau (Organizing Committee) of China Import Expo 2018. The expo is due in Shanghai on 5-10 November. “During the meeting the parties discussed the issues regarding Belarus' participation in the expo, outlined the measures to step up the work on the preparation the national stand of Belarus and participation of Belarusian companies and organizations in thematic pavilions,” the Consulate General informed.
The debut China Import Expo 2018 will be a a big event which will be open to participation by all countries in the world. The total exhibition area is about 240,000 m2, of which 30,00 m2 has been allocated for the national pavilions. Hosts are the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Supporters are the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and others.
