SVETLOGORSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Petrochemical industry companies intend to sign seven documents on cooperation during the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from Belneftekhim Press Secretary Marina Kostyuchenko.
Gomel Chemical Plant intends to sign a five-year dealership agreement with Vasteco Partners (Nizhny Novgorod) for supplying 22,500 tonnes of sodium sulfite. Belneftekhim Russia, which is in charge of selling Belneftekhim products in Russia, is getting ready to sign six contracts for supplying Belarus-made merchandise in 2016-2017. The total sum of the contracts will be close to RUB3 billion.
Apart from that, a Russian daughter enterprise of ZAO Belarusian Oil Company intends to sign an agreement of intent with OAO Solid Commodity Markets (Moscow). The agreement will allow the chain of refueling stations of the Russian company to use the BelOil trademark.
Marina Kostyuchenko noted that cooperation between the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim and the Russian Federation has been advancing fast this year. In January-March 2016 the export of chemical and petrochemical products to Russia rose by 20.3% in natural terms. The main exports were automobile tires, chemical fibers and yarns, polyethylene, fiber glass, cord fabrics and nonwoven materials.
