Performance of Borisov Pharmaceutical Plant hailed

MINSK OBLAST, 27 July (BelTA) – Borisov Pharmaceutical Plant has carried out an upgrade program and the results have surpassed all expectations, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told reporters after his visit to the Borisov-based company which was part of his working visit to Minsk Oblast on 27 July, BelTA has learned.

“Today it is a modern innovative enterprise that complies will all international standards. We paid a visit to a production unit built from scratch in 2013. Its construction cost the enterprise $56 million. This is the case when the result has exceeded all expectations. The output capacity has been increased 1.5 times, not through simplification of the technology, but through more intensive use of equipment, increased application of the shift system, and even through working weekends. As long as there is a demand for our products, we should work to get maximum profit,” Andrei Kobyakov emphasized.

In his words, it is important that in addition to the good results achieved over the past five years, the company's management have specific plans for the current five-year term and for the period until 2025. “They see prospects and have a clear idea of what has to be improved and what to do to keep the market niche. They understand that success, if not multiplied, can be very transient. The company's executives realize that to remain in the trend, as young people say, they should work constantly to improve the technology and product quality and cut costs. It is good that we have such companies and managers who can not only describe, but also demonstrate how everything should be done,” Andrei Kobyakov stressed.
