MTBank named Belarus' Bank of the Year 2015

MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – The Banker, a monthly international financial affairs magazine owned by the Financial Times group, has named MTBank the 2015 Bank of the Year in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press release by the Belarusian bank.

“The decision to present the award to MTBank was made by an international panel of judges,” the press release reads. The bank got the title for the first time.

The Banker annually names the best banks in the world based on their performance in terms of growth, development and assimilation of innovative banking technologies, and implementation of strategic projects.

The Banker is an independent international financial magazine with over 85 years of history. It is one of the most comprehensive and respected voices in the financial media. This year, The Banker presented the Bank of the Year award to banks in more than 150 countries.

MTBank provides a full range of services to corporate customers and individual clients. In 2015 it celebrated the 21st anniversary of its founding. The bank issues loans to individuals and legal entities, provides cash management and currency exchange services, and conducts deposit operations. MTBank operates 151 offices throughout the country.
