Matyushevsky: Transparent administration rules crucial for SMEs development in Belarus

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Clear and transparent administration rules is the number one priority for the development of small and medium-sized business in the country, Belarus' First Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Matyushevsky said at the joint meeting of the two chambers of the parliament on 27 May, BelTA has learned.

“First thing small and medium-sized business needs is clear and transparent administration rules and also the guaranteed inviolability of their property,” noted Vasily Matyushevsky.

The First Vice Premier also stressed the importance of facilitating the access to loans for small and medium-sized business. “To make the resources cheaper we need to do two things: to reduce the rate of inflation and cut down on directed lending. This will create normal conditions in the monetary market. But this will take time,” Vasily Matyushevsky said.

In his words, the de-dollarization of economy plays an important role in improving the access to loans for business. “We are working on the de-dollarization together with the National Bank. As we see it, we have been working consistently on the de-dollarization,” Vasily Matyushevsky said.
