IAOT Board to meet in Minsk 23 May

MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – The Assembly and the Board of the International Association of Oil Transporters (IAOT) will meet in Minsk on 23 May, Gomeltransneft Druzhba Director General Oleg Pochinok told reporters on 16 May, BelTA has learned.

“On 23 May, the Belarusian capital will host the seventh meeting of the Board of the International Association of Oil Transporters. This is a non-governmental organization that unites oil transporters. It has seven members, and all of them will partake in the meeting in Minsk,” Oleg Pochinok said.

Gomeltransneft Druzhba will be the host company. Attending the meeting will be MERO CR (Czech Republic), Transneft (Russia), Transpetrol (Slovakia), MOL (Hungary), KazTransOil (Kazakhstan), and China National Petroleum Corporation.

Besides, the list of participants includes representatives of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium which holds an observer status, and UkrTransNafta (Ukraine) that has showed interest in becoming a member of the association. PERN Przyjazn SA (Poland) has also been invited to attend the meeting in Minsk.
