GOMEL, 26 June (BelTA) - Gomel Oblast enterprises will display their products at the expo of the 4th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on 29-30 June, BelTA learned from Irina Davydenko, head of the international cooperation department of the economy committee at the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
At the forum Gomel Oblast will be represented by Dobrush Porcelain Factory, Spartak, Gomelkhlebprom, the Gomel district consumer society, meat processing and dairy enterprises. “The products of these enterprises are well known in the majority of Russian regions, they sell well. Visitors of the exposition pavilions will be able to familiarize themselves with the range of products and buy them,” Irina Davydenko said.
Besides, the Belarusian exposition will feature the products of Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno, Mozyr garment factory Nadex, 8 March, the Sukhoy Gomel State Technical University, the Gomel Machine Building College.
The delegation of Gomel Oblast will be led by Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Council of Deputies Oleg Borisenko. It is expected that during the forum the Legislative Assembly of Orenburg Oblast and the Gomel Oblast Council of Deputies will sign a cooperation agreement.
This year's forum of regions will focus on the vectors of integration development of regions of Belarus and Russia in advanced technologies, innovations, and information society. The 4th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia is organized by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus. The specialized expo is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
