GOMEL, 17 October (BelTA) – An exhibition at the first Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine, which will be held in Gomel on 25-26 October, will bring together over 140 manufacturers of the two countries, Marina Filonova, the director of the Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told the media in Gomel on 17 October, BelTA has learned.
“Representatives of both countries have shown interest in the event. 57 Ukrainian manufactures and 89 from Belarus have so far confirmed their participation in the event. We expect this number to increase,” said Marina Filonova. According to her, 14 regions of Ukraine and all regions of Belarus will display their industrial potential.
The exhibition will have two venues. The Athletics Center will host companies of the food, light industry, petrochemical, construction and other industries. The open-air exhibition in Lenina Square will display vehicles by the Belarusian industrial giants: Gomselmash, Belorusneft, Amkodor and others.
The program envisages presentations of region and enterprises and a meeting of the Advisory Board with the participation of more than 250 representatives of business communities.
An arts and crafts fair will feature artisans from Ukraine's Chernigov Oblast, all districts of Gomel Oblast and other regions of Belarus.
