Delegations from over 20 countries attend B2B Contact Fair Brest 2018

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – The International B2B Contact Fair Brest 2018 kicked off on 26 April, BelTA has learned.

More than 100 foreign guests are attending the event. Heads of diplomatic missions of Moldova, Slovakia, and Ukraine are leading their countries' delegations. Brest also expects representatives of China, Vietnam, Czechia, Israel, Libya, Kazakhstan, Poland, Portugal, France, and Hungary to come. The forum will be attended by official delegations and businessmen from Georgia, Egypt, Italy, Kazakhstan, Congo, Nigeria, Russia, Syria, the USA, and Finland.

The two-day event in the Track-and-Field Arena will feature an exhibition, thematic sections and a cooperation exchange event. The forum will provide opportunities to discuss investments, to establish and strengthen long-term cooperation in manufacturing, trade and services between Belarusian and foreign enterprises and companies. The forum will see business meetings and B2B negotiations. A broad program with the participation of the banking community including representatives of foreign banks will be a new feature of this year.

The international exhibition presents the economic potential of Brest Oblast and Belarus. Among the exhibitors are OAO Belarusian Steel Works – management company of Belarusian Metallurgical Company, Belarusian Cement Company, Savushkin Product, Baranovichi Cotton Production Amalgamation, Barhim, Druzhba Poultry Plan, Neman Glassworks, PP Polesie JV, Ltd., Belsolod, Berioza Cheese-Producing Plant, Berioza Meat Processing Plant, Brestzhilstroi. In total, more than 100 exhibitors from Belarus, Poland, Russia, Italy, and Egypt are showcasing their products and services. The exhibition features about a dozen and a half thematic sections: from engineering and machine construction to tourism and business education.

The organizers of the Forum-Exhibition of Business Contacts are the Brest Oblast Executive Committee and the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
