CIS Economic Council to consider program for innovative cooperation 17 March

MOSCOW, 13 March (BelTA) - The CIS Economic Council will convene for a session in Moscow on 17 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Moscow office of the CIS Executive Committee.

“The agenda includes a broad range of issues of economic cooperation between the CIS countries. Among them will be the draft agreement on the oint use of the testing capacities of Kazakhstan's tokamak for material testing, the CIS interstate radio navigation program for the period up to 2020,” the press service informed.

The court will review a set of issues relating to the CIS interstate program for innovative cooperation up to 2020 and in particular, the draft set of measures to this program for 2017-2020.

The participants of the meeting will also discuss a concept of gradual formation of the CIS common labor market and labor migration management.

The CIS Economic Council will hear a performance report of the CIS intergovernmental coordinating council on seed production, and also a progress report on the implementation of the protocol on international roads in the CIS of 11 September 1998.

The agenda of the meeting includes matters related to the work of the basic organizations of the CIS member states for the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

Besides, the participants will discuss a number of budgetary, financial and organizational issues.
