YICHANG, 21 May (BelTA) – China's pharmaceutical company Humanwell intends to use the advantages of the EAEU common market of medicines and build a plant in Belarus, the company's representatives said at the meeting with the Belarusian delegation that attended the international seminar Belt and Road. Getting to Know Hubei in China on 19 May, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian delegation that included a representative of the administration of the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park Great Stone visited the Humanwell office on 19 May. The guests got familiar with the activity of this large pharmaceutical company, which is located in the city of Yichang, Hubei Province. Humanwell delivers medicines to several dozen countries around the world and is constantly expanding its outlets to international markets.

Three years ago the Humanwell leadership visited Minsk and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Great Stone. The Chinese company carefully studied the prospects of the market with an eye on building a new enterprise in the park. The pharmaceutical company is going to start discussing cooperation plans with Belarus in detail.
The international seminar Belt and Road. Getting to Know Hubei was held to activate the Belarusian-Chinese economic ties in the most diverse areas of the Belt and Road project. Belarus presented its investment and economic potential of the country and Brest Oblast, and also the Great Stone, which aroused great interest among Chinese companies. About 100 enterprises from Hubei province took part in the event.
Hubei Province and Brest Oblast have been maintaining twin relations for a long time.
