Business incubators from Russia, Estonia to share best practices in Minsk

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – The forum “Best practices of successful business incubators and accelerators. Russia” will take place at the Imaguru Business Club/Startup Hub in Minsk on 4-5 October, BelTA has learned.

Heads of leading business incubators from Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Tallinn will share their expertise and knowledge in running up a business that helps other businesses grow.

“There are 26 business incubators and over 100 entrepreneurship promotion centers in Belarus. Each of them offers consultations free of charge, runs training programs and provides fledgling entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to start their own company. Apart from that, new incubators and entrepreneurship promotion centers are in the pipeline,” the organizers of the forum noted.

The forum will be held in a form of a seminar. It will bring together over 100 participants from Minsk, oblast capitals and small towns. Among them are not only heads of business incubators, but also entrepreneurs that are about to launch business incubators and entrepreneurship promotion centers in their home towns, including Glubokoye, Baran, Chausy and Krichev. Entrepreneurship promotion centers are set up and equipped in line with a joint project to promote business in small towns run by the UNDP and the Belarusian Economy Ministry.

The forum is organized by the UNDP and the Belarusian Economy Ministry.
