MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – BUDEXPO 2018, the 21st edition of the international construction sector exhibition and congress, will take place in the Globus Park trade and logistics center in Shchomyslitsa, Minsk District, on 21-24 March, BelTA learned from the organizers of the exhibition.
“BUDEXPO, which opens the construction season, is the legal successor of Stroyexpo held since 1997. The expo has been rebranded into BUDEXPO to grow into one of Belarus' largest exhibitions and congresses dedicated to the construction industry and architecture. Visitors will have the opportunity to consult with experts and to network,” the organizers said.
Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of products for the construction industry: construction and finishing materials, technologies, equipment, heat supply systems, ventilating systems and energy saving systems, video surveillance, access control, artificial stone and natural wood materials, roofing materials, stairs, metal structures, pavement and ceramic tiles, windows, doors, gates, personal protective equipment and uniforms, interior items.
The expo will bring together major domestic and foreign enterprises of the construction industry, engineering, architectural, and investment companies, private investors and developers. Among the exhibits will be the delegation from Russia, China, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Italy, Finland, Norway, Ukraine, Kazakhstan.
The international construction forum headlined as Innovations in Construction will feature conferences, roundtables, panel discussions to talk over the new technologies and solutions in construction, design and management of construction BIM technologies, new architecture, smart buildings, eco-technology, decorative materials, means of mechanization. So far the list of speakers includes more than 40 leading experts from Belarus, the CIS states and other countries.
The program also includes the fair-contest of innovative projects BudIdea for the best projects in the construction industry. The contest has already received more than 10 applications from various scientific laboratories, research institutes, groups of authors featuring new efficient insulation and building materials, technologies, innovative construction equipment.
BUDEXPO will debut the competition of professional skills BudMaster 2018 with the nominations Best Bricklayer and Best Plasterer. The program also includes the master classes on the use of dry mixes, different technologies to apply decorative materials (Venetian stucco, textured stucco, bas-reliefs, paintings).
BUDEXPO 2018 will be held with the support of the Council of Ministers and with the assistance of the Architecture and Construction Ministry, Belexpo national exhibition center, the Belarus President Property Management Directorate.
