Brest business delegation visits Russia's Pskov Oblast 23-25 May

BREST, 26 May (BelTA) - A business delegation of Brest Oblast visited Pskov Oblast of Russia on 23-25 May, BelTA learned from the Brest Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

The delegation was led by Vice Chairman of the BCCI Brest Office branch Sergei Telezhinsky. The delegation included representatives of Brestzhilstroy construction company, OAO Belarusian Cement Company, OAO Goryn agrokombinat, Granit company, OAO Brest Pivo brewery, health health farms Boug and Brestagrozdravnitsa.

The representatives of the Belarusian companies took part in a meeting with businessmen and municipal authorities which was attended by Pskov Mayor Ivan Tsetsersky. “The cooperation between Pskov Oblast and the Republic of Belarus has been developing rapidly, but we are not stopping at this. Our city is interested in expanding trade and industrial relations. Pskov has an extensive experience in various fields, we are ready to share our best practices with our colleagues from Belarus,” the Pskov mayor said.

During the visit, the representatives of the Brest enterprises discussed possible ways of cooperation with Pskov organizations, visited PskovExpo, and got acquainted with the special economic zone Moglino. A business matchmaking event was organized for the Brest and Pskov businessmen.
