Belneftekhim opens trading house in Georgia's Tbilisi

TBILISI, 22 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim has opened a trading house in Tbilisi, Georgia, Belneftekhim chairman Igor Lyashenko told the media on 22 March, BelTA informs.

“Yesterday Belneftekhim and the Belarusian Oil Trade House opened a showroom – a European-style trading house that features our products,” the chairman said.

The trading house demonstrates a wide range of Belarus-made tires. “It is always important for Georgian customers to see the goods for themselves. This is their market need,” Igor Lyashenko pointed out.

The showroom also displays Belarusian paints and varnishes, samples of mineral fertilizers. In general, the most in-demand products on the Georgian market are polyamides by Grodno Azot, tires, and also fertilizers by Gomel Chemical Plant.

According to Igor Lyashenko, last year Belneftekhim exported $4.9 million worth of products to Georgia. The concert plans to boost the exports to this country thanks to a new marketing policy.
