Belneftekhim: No outstanding issues in cooperation with Transneft

MINSK, 22 March (BelTA) – Chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Igor Lyashenko and President of PAO Transneft Nikolai Tokarev had a working meeting in Moscow, spokesperson for Belneftekhim Marina Kostyuchenko told BelTA.

Igor Lyashenko introduced new head of Gomeltransneft Druzhba, Oleg Pochinok to Nikolai Tokarev. The parties discussed the issues regarding the transportation of oil to the refineries in Belarus. PAO Transneft reaffirmed their commitment to pump the agreed amount of oil in 2017.

“The parties took note of the reliable operation of the Belarusian part of the pipeline, the high level of cooperation and the absence of outstanding issues,” Marina Kostyuchenko said.

The Belarusian side informed the Russian partners on the progress in the preparations for the next meeting of the Council of the International Association of Oil Transporters in Europe due in Minsk in May this year. The parties discussed the joint participation in the Hannover expo where Belarusian-made oil pipeline equipment will be presented at the stand of Russia's Transneft.

Belarus confirmed its participation in the international competition of professional pipefitting skills in Omsk in 2017. In 2014 the competition was held at the production site of Gomeltransneft Druzhba in Mozyr.

Nikolai Tokarev, for his part, shared his vision of the prospects and priorities of the development of the Russian oil pipeline industry.
