Belneftekhim: Applications for Russian oil supply filed on time

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – Belneftekhim Concern filed the applications for the supply of Russian oil to Belarus on time, Deputy Chairman of Belneftekhim Vitaly Pavlov told BelTA.

“Belneftekhim and the Belarusian oil refineries timely completed, as always, all the necessary procedures. Belarus sent the applications for the supply and transportation of oil in Q3 to the Russian Energy Ministry and Transneft Company on 6 June. Belneftekhim received the delivery schedule on 15 June. The volumes indicated in it are lower than what Belneftekhim had requested,” he said.

Vitaly Pavlov noted that, unfortunately, as of 30 June, Belarus did not receive any documents from the Russian oil companies that would formalize the delivery volumes stated in the schedule.

In this connection, on 30 June Belneftekhim held consultations with the Russian Energy Ministry to discuss the compliance with the existing intergovernmental agreement on the volume of oil supplies, and gave its reasoned opinion. The consultations will be continued,” Vitaly Pavlov said.
