MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – Belarusian-made woodworking products are on show at the 27th international expo BUDMA 2018 in Poznan, Poland from 6 to 9 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom.
The Belarusian exhibition showcases a wide range of chipboards and furniture by such manufacturers as FanDOK, Rechitsadrev, Mogilevdrev, Gomeldrev, Yelsk Furtniture Factory (branch of Mozyr Woodworking Plant), and ZOV-Lenevromebel.
Several manufacturers (Ivatsevichdrev, Molodechnomebel, and Pinskdrev) are holding business meetings with partneres and negotiations to export new products to Poland in 2018.
For Bellesbumprom-affiliated companies, BUDMA 2018 is an effective instrument to promote their products in Poland. This is one of the key markets for Belarus in the EU and outside the CIS, in general. In 2017, Poland accounted for 43% of Bellesbumprom's total volume of exports to non-CIS countries. Bellesbumprom supplies to Poland virtually all kinds of products it makes: chipboards, plywood, furniture, timber, paper, cardboard, and other goods.
BUDMA is considered the largest construction trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe. The 2018 edition's motto is “Inspiration, Knowledge, Business”.
