Belarusian grain harvester tested in Pakistan

MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Gomselmash self-propelled grain combine harvester KZS 575 was successfully tested in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan on 24-25 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Pakistan.

The Belarusian combine harvester proved its worth in the complicated weather conditions of Pakistan, and drew keen interest of local farmers in its reliability and highly efficient performance. The plan for Gomselmash product supplies to the Pakistani market will be worked out after the trials.

The trials came after a set of successful negotiations which were launched during the first visit of the Belarusian head of state to Pakistan on 28-29 May 2015.

The demonstration of the Belarusian combine harvester in the Pakistani fields was conducted by a team of Gomselmash specialists led by Director for Sales in Asia and Africa Irina Privalova.

The event was organized by Director General of Pyramid Logistics (Pvt.) Ltd Yaqoob Shaikh and representative of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Pakistan Zhurabek Kirgizbekov.

Pakistan is among key countries with which Belarus has been actively developing trade and economic cooperation in the recent years. In 2017, the export of Belarusian goods to Pakistan totaled $65 million.
