Belarusian Finance Ministry to sell bonds worth Br1 trillion on 1-17 June

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian Finance Ministry will directly sell government bonds nominated in Belarusian rubles and worth Br1 trillion on 1-17 June, BelTA has learned.

The short-term bonds with an interest yield will be sold via the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange. The face value of one bond is Br1 million, with the interest rate at 16.4% per annum.

21 July 2016 is the date the bonds will be redeemed and the interest yield will be paid.

The government bonds can be bought by individuals and corporations.
