Belarusian Economic Forum opens in Bavaria

MINSK, 14 November (BelTA) – Belarus' investment opportunities were presented to the German business audience at the Belarusian Economic Forum in Bavaria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The forum in Munich drew over 100 representatives of the German business community. The forum included a variety of thematic sessions. Some of them highlighted success stories of doing business in Belarus. Others dealt with opportunities in the financial and banking sector and Belarus' offers in transportation and logistics in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, co-chair of the Belarus-Germany working group on trade and investment Evgeny Shestakov delivered a keynote speech at the plenary session of the forum. He also met with Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian State Minister of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, and business executives interested in implementing investment projects in Belarus.
