MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – The BelGee factory intends to make the first commercial batch of Geely Atlas NL4 cars in June, BelTA learned from Belarusian First Deputy Industry Minister Gennady Svidersky, who is the acting director general of SZAO BelGee.
According to Gennady Svidersky, the Geely Atlas NL4 model is supposed to finish in-house trials in March. “Geely Atlas NL4 is a simplified version of the NL3 model. Prices will be lower,” he noted. In his words, the company has already taken the first order to make a commercial batch of Geely Atlas NL4 cars in Q2 2018. “I think we will make it in June,” said the executive.
The company is now trialing the Geely FE3 sedan, which is advertised as an economy car. “The price will be substantially lower in comparison with the flagship model but it has yet to be determined by our marketing division,” said Gennady Svidersky. He promised to take into account the opinion of potential buyers. According to preliminary data, the batch production of the Geely FE3 sedan will begin in Q3 2018.
