Belarusian BelAZ develops aftersales service in Russia's Novosibirsk Oblast

MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – A warehouse offering original spare parts for BelAZ vehicles has been opened at premises of AO Sibanthracite in Iskitim District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, BelTA has learned.

The warehouse will reduce the downtime of BelAZ vehicles, reduce the risk of buying poor-quality products, and improve the effectiveness of production. The project was implemented over the course of six months. The warehouse occupies 460m2 for now and offers parts according to the approved classification.

BelAZ, Sibanthracite, and BelTransLogistic have signed a partnership and strategic cooperation agreement, which will allow making the joint work of the companies even more effective.

The BelAZ press service noted that the company has worked out a special program to build aftersales service centers to offer maintenance and repairs to customers. Such centers already operate on Sakhalin Island, the Kamchatka Peninsula, in the Republic of Khakassia, and in the cities of Neryungri, Krasnoyarsk, and Yekaterinburg.

Sibanthracite is a long-time partner of the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ. At present it uses 88 BelAZ trucks with each capable of carrying 55 tonnes and more. In the last five years the Russian company bought 20 BelAZ haul trucks with the carrying capacity ranging from 110 tonnes to 220 tonnes.
