MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-American forum of small and medium-sized businesses will be held in Philadelphia in the first half of 2017. This matter was discussed during the Eurasian-American Technology Entrepreneurship Conference in Philadelphia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
Senior counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in the United States Sergei Nagorny made a report at a panel discussion of the conference. The diplomat spoke on the development of the Belarusian IT industry and Hi-Tech Park, answered questions from the American participants.
“An agreement was reached with the organizers of the conference to hold a Belarusian-American forum of small and medium-sized businesses in Philadelphia in the first half of 2017 with a focus on companies working in high technology and promising scientific developments,” the press service informed.
The conference was organized by the Mid-Atlantic-Eurasia Business Council. It was attended by representatives of the city administration of Philadelphia, innovative companies, major scientific and educational institutions.
