Belarus, Vietnam discuss prospects for Belarusian equipment supplies

MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko who led the governmental delegation during a working visit to Vietnam met with Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Van Suu on 24 October, BelTA has learned.

The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral relations, including the supplies of the Belarusian passenger and cargo vehicles for the needs of Hanoi municipality, the participation of Belarusian organizations in designing and building the metro in Vietnam. The parties also talked over the construction of trading houses in Minsk and Hanoi, the intensification of investment activity and increasing mutual supplies of food products.

The program of the visit will also include Vladimir Semashko's meeting with representatives of Vietnam's biggest industrial companies to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including the supplies of Belarusian vehicles, tires to Vietnam and the creation of joint companies.
