Belarus, Turkmenistan considering joint woodworking projects

ASHGABAT, 29 March (BelTA) - Belarus and Turkmenistan are discussing the possibility of launching joint woodworking manufactures, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan Oleg Tabanyukhov told the media on 29 March, BelTA has learned.

“There are prospects for setting up joint ventures in woodworking, furniture production. This topic is interesting, and we are exploring it,” Ambassador Oleg Tabanyukhov said.

According to the diplomat, for several years the countries discussed the prospects for setting joint ventures to assemble Belarusian automotive equipment. However, Turkmenistan concluded that it would be more profitable to buy the vehicles.kk
