MINSK, 4 December (BelTA) – There are plans to launch the production of greenhouses and agricultural equipment with the use of Belarusian technologies in Egypt. The matter was discussed during a visit of the Belarusian delegation to Cairo, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Egypt.
The Belarusian delegation comprised representatives of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, and also Torgtekhmash Company, specializing in the production of greenhouses and agricultural equipment, and Servolux Company, a poultry producer. The Belarusian delegation met with businessmen of Egypt.
The embassy organized negotiations with Mostafa Hadhoud, Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Agricultural and Rural Development, the leadership of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Kader Factory for Developed Industries, and a number of private companies to discuss the construction and localization of production of greenhouses and agricultural equipment in Egypt with the use of Belarusian technologies.
The delegation met with top executives of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr to discuss the financing of export-import operations and joint projects to foster the development of the agricultural sector of Egypt.
Representatives of Servolux company held negotiations with Major-General Dr. Ala El Din Fahmy, the head of the Food Industries Holding Company at the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade of Egypt. Servolux made presentations at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers and the Association of Egyptian Businessmen. Negotiations on the supply of poultry meat to the Egyptian market were held with Egyptian businessmen.
