Belarus to negotiate terms of leasing Belarus-made goods in Russia with two companies

MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – Belarus will hold talks with AO MetalloinvestLeasing and OOO Kuzbasslizing to negotiate terms of financial lease (leasing) of Belarus-made goods in Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The draft agreements between the Belarusian government and the companies were approved as the basis for the talks by resolutions No.120 and No.121 of the Council of Ministers of 13 February 2017.

The Industry Ministry and the Finance Ministry have been tasked with negotiating the draft agreements with MetalloinvestLeasing and Kuzbasslizing. The Industry Ministry is entitled, if necessary, to make amendments and additions that are not fundamental in nature. If the parties agree on the approved draft agreements, the ministry is entitled to sign them.

BPS-Sberbank will act as the agent bank in fulfilling the agreements and collect a service fee of no greater than 0.02% of the amount payable by Belarus from the state budget.

Besides, the government and ООО Eximleasing (Ukraine) will sign a supplemental agreement to the agreement on leasing Belarus-made goods in Ukraine. The draft of the supplemental agreement was approved by resolution No.122 of the Council of Ministers of 13 February 2017 as the basis for talks. The government entrusted the Industry Ministry and the Finance Ministry with negotiating the draft of the supplemental agreement with Eximleasing and, if necessary, making amendments and additions that are not fundamental in nature. If the parties reach an agreement on the approved draft supplemental agreement, the ministries are entitled to sign it.

Resolutions No. 120, 121, 122 take effect on the date of their adoption.
