MINSK, 11 January (BelTA) – The transit of Belarusian oil products via Russian ports is possible given its economic viability, Deputy Chairman of Belneftekhim Concern Andrei Rybakov told BelTA.
“The transit of Belarusian oil products via Russia ports can be continued only given its economic feasibility. If this route is more profitable or similar to others in transportation costs, we will welcome the possibility of offering customers the supplies from different Baltic ports, including those of Russia,” said Andrei Rybakov.
The transit via more distant ports is a backup to use in case of the interruption in deliveries through more profitable routes, he added.
