Belarus taking part in Slovenia's agricultural fair

MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – Belarus' national stand has been presented at the international fair of agriculture and food AGRA that is underway in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia on 20-25 August, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian National Exposition has featured the Belarusian enterprises of Belneftekhim Concern, Minsk Tractor Plant, Gomselmash, Minsk Kristall Group, Savushkin Product, Santa Bremor.

During the official opening of AGRA on 20 August, the National Exposition of Belarus was attended by Prime Minister of Slovenia Miro Cerar who praised the high quality of the Belarusian products.

“Belinterexpo, the operator of the National Exposition of Belarus, jointly with the Belarusian Embassy in Hungary held a presentation of the Republic of Belarus on 22 August. The presentation was attended by representatives of Slovenian and Hungarian companies and business associations. Export and investment opportunities of Belarus were presented at the event. After the presentation, B2B negotiations were held and a number of contracts on delivery of Belarusian goods to Slovenia were signed,” the press service said.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Slovenia Alexander Khainovsky did a presentation of Belarus-Slovenia cooperation prospects.

The Ambassador of Belarus met with State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of Slovenia Tanja Strnisa. The parties discussed further bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.

Belarusian enterprises also took part in a business match-making session on 23 August.
