Belarus taking part in Food and Hospitality Oman expo

MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – An exposition of Belarusian manufacturers “Belarus. The Taste of Nature” has been presented at the Food and Hospitality Oman international trade exhibition that is taking place in Muscat on 15-17 October, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition company of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).

Taking part in the expo are about 100 companies from 20 countries, including six Belarusian enterprises: Babushkina Krynka, Soligorsk Poultry Factory, Minsk Margarine Plant, Lidapischekontsentraty, Yeast Factory and Primemilk. Apart from Belarus, national pavilions were presented by India, Iran, China, Malaysia, Thailand and South Africa. Food and Hospitality Oman is Oman's biggest food industry expo.

A Belarus-Oman business forum took place on 14 October. It was arranged by the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Oman. Taking part in the forum were Ambassador of Belarus to Egypt with concurrent accreditation to Oman Sergei Rachkov, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Musandam Raed bin Mohammed al Shehhi and Belinterexpo Director Evgeny Vvedensky. The Belarusian companies presented their products to local businessmen.

On 15 October, the Belarusian exposition was visited by Sergei Rachkov, Minister of Tourism of Oman Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrizi, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director General Abdul Adheem al Bahrani, representatives of government agencies and business community of the country.

The exposition “Belarus. The Taste of Nature” was organized by Belinterexpo with support of the Belarusian Embassy in Egypt and the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

By the end of 2018 Belinterexpo will arrange expositions of Belarusian manufacturers in Vietnam, Georgia, Egypt, Israel, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Romania and Uzbekistan.
