Belarus, Serbia sign memorandum of cooperation in competition policy

BELGRADE, 19 April (BelTA) – Belarus' Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade and the Commission for Protection of Competition of the Republic of Serbia signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the field of competition policy in Belgrade on 19 April, BelTA has learned.

The parties agreed to share experience and to cooperate in the issues of development of competition policy that are of mutual interest.

The document was signed by Belarus Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Vladimir Koltovich, and President of the Commission for Protection of Competition Dr. Miloje Obradovic.

The document was signed during the 10th meeting of the Belarusian-Serbian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. During the meeting the Belarusian delegation was led by Vladimir Koltovich; the Serbian one was headed by Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic.

Belgrade also played host to the Serbian-Belarusian ministerial consultations. The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The working group on cooperation in agriculture also held a meeting.
