Belarus prime minister, EEC minister discuss Eurasian Economic Union development

MINSK, 15 August (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov met with Tatiana Valovaya, Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), BelTA has learned.

Andrei Kobyakov and Tatiana Valovaya discussed topical aspects of development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Apart from that, Tatiana Valovaya informed Andrei Kobyakov about results of the conference Eurasian Economic Union: Future Development Strategy, which had taken place in Minsk earlier that day.

Participants of the conference discussed the current level of integration, including the degree of implementation of agreements, problems impeding the healthy operation of the domestic Eurasian Economic Union market, and the union's development prospects.
