MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – The thermal modernization of housing stock in Belarus may be carried out with the help of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Housing and Utilities Minister Alexander Terekhov said when speaking in the House of Representatives on 13 June, BelTA has learned.
“At the moment we are working on another project with the EBRD, namely the thermal modernization of buildings and housing stock in Belarus,” Alexander Terekhov remarked.
According to him, Belarus and the EBRD are also mulling over the expansion of Belarus Water Sector Framework. “The projects on six wastewater facilities are ready. Another project on the construction of water de-ironing stations throughout Belarus is about to be completed. Moreover, the issues of local fuels are always on our radar,” Alexander Terekhov added speaking about the plans for further cooperation with the EBRD.
