MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov was made familiar with the development of enterprises in the industrial park Khimgrad and enterprises of Kazanorgsintez Company in Tatarstan, the Russian Federation, BelTA has learned.
While on a tour of Khimgrad Andrei Kobyakov was made familiar with the manufacturing sites of the resident companies in this industrial park. Those are primarily companies specializing in small-scale chemistry and polymer processing. The industrial park allows resident companies to use sites and land plots on leasehold terms or acquisition terms. A professional managing company helps the resident companies. Its work relies heavily on the one-stop principle. Raw materials, including those in short supply, are delivered to resident companies using a centralized approach. Additional services can be provided, for instance, financing for resident companies. Andrei Kobyakov instructed Igor Lyashenko, Chairman of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, to analyze the operation of the resident companies, which make products similar to those made by the Belarusian chemical company Mogilevkhimvolokno.
The Belarusian head of government was also informed about the operation of Tatarstan's regional biotechnology engineering center, which was opened as part of the industrial park Khimgrad in 2016. The center is busy working out complex engineering solutions to develop and make biotechnology products for agriculture. Andrei Kobyakov noted it had a lot of promise.
The Belarusian prime minister also visited Kazanorgsintez Company. It is a major producer of ethylene polymers and copolymers, a leading company of the Russian chemical industry. The company is of strategic importance for the development of the Tatarstan economy. The company offers ethylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, polyethylene pipes, bisphenol, phenol, acetone, ethylene glycols, ethanolamines, and other organic synthesis products. The choice of products includes over 170 titles. The output stands at 1.6 million tonnes. The merchandise is exported to 23 countries.
Apart from that, Andrei Kobyakov went on a tour of Kazan Arena, Russia's first football stadium built for the forthcoming world football championship. The head of government was told that the stadium will be developed in line with the “city in a city” concept. Apart from sport infrastructure retail outlets, public catering outlets, and so on will be opened as part of the sport complex. The multifunctional complex can host federal and international events. Apart from football matches it can host concerts and other public events. Kazan Arena can also serve as a venue for art projects.
