Belarus, Kazakhstan to fully explore mutual investment potential

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Kazakhstan will put efforts into fully exploring the mutual investment potential, BelTA learned from Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Pavel Utyupin on the sidelines of the Belarusian-Kazakhstani business forum on 29 November.

The official said: “The potential for mutual investments by Belarus and Kazakhstan is rather high in many industries. We and our colleagues should work to make it happen. Actually, we've arranged today's forum with this in mind in order to help companies find partners, help them hear each other and see support provided by the heads of state, which is very important.”

The deputy economy minister mentioned positive changes in Belarus-Kazakhstan trade. “Due to objective reasons on global markets Belarus-Kazakhstan trade dropped in the past. But the recovery process dynamics inspires confidence that we will be able to return to the $1 billion we had as little as couple of years ago,” concluded Pavel Utyupin.
