Belarus-Iran economic cooperation commission to convene in Minsk on 10-11 October

MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – A session of the mixed Belarusian-Iranian commission for economic cooperation will take place in Minsk on 10-11 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Tehran.

Preparation for the session was in focus of a meeting between Charge d'Affaires of Belarus to Iran Oleg Kukhalsky and Ali Reza Sonai, Head of Department for Cooperation with Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Main Department of Eurasia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, and Behrouz Olfat, Director of Europe and America Department of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.

The parties discussed important matters on the bilateral agenda, including prospects of regional cooperation and development of trade and economic cooperation. The meeting focused on practical aspects of organizing the 15th session of the mixed Belarusian-Iranian commission for economic cooperation which is set to analyze the state and prospects of economic cooperation.
