Belarus, Hungary discuss preparations for meeting of intergovernmental commission

MINSK, 28 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna met with a Hungarian delegation in Minsk on 28 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations. Special attention was paid to the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission to be held on 29 September.

The Hungarian delegation is in Belarus on a visit on 28 and 29 September to attend the seventh meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation and a business forum. More than 30 Belarusian and 16 Hungarian companies took part in the business forum on 28 September. They discussed opportunities for joint projects in construction, manufacturing industry, finances, interactive software, healthcare, agriculture, livestock breeding, tourism services (medical tourism in Hungary), supplies of energy drinks and foodstuffs, purchase of timber products, and sale of farm machinery, equipment and food processing technologies.
