MINSK, 18 January (BelTA) – In 2016 Belarus' GDP totaled Br94.3 billion in current prices or 97.4% as against 2015 in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the website of the National Statistics Committee of Belarus.
According to the source, Belarus' industrial output dropped by 0.4% to Br79.4 billion within one year. Agricultural output rose by 3.4% to Br15.3 billion.
In 2016 fixed-capital investments totaled Br18.1 billion, 17.9% down from 2015.
Retail trade dropped by 4.1% to Br36.2 billion, with wholesale trade down by 10.4% to Br64.8 billion.
