Belarus' Finance Ministry, Gazprombank sign cooperation agreement

MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Finance Ministry and Gazprombank signed a cooperation agreement, BelTA has learned from the the website of the Finance Ministry.

In accordance with the cooperation agreement, Gazprombank will provide the Finance Ministry of Belarus information and organizational support and advice on the ways of expanding the presence of Belarus on the financial markets of Russia and China. The agreement is intended to contribute to the efforts to strengthen financial stability of Belarus and to diversify the sources of budget financing.

On behalf of the Finance Ministry the agreement was signed by Finance Minister Vladimir Amarin, on behalf of Gazprombank by First Vice President Denis Shulakov.

Gazprombank is one of the largest financial institutions in Russia offering a wide range of banking, financial, investment products and services to corporate and private clients, financial institutions, institutional and private investors. It holds a leading position in the Russian financial market. Since 2015 the Bank has been a rating consultant of Belarus' Finance Ministry.
