Belarus' export up by 21% in January-November 2017

MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – In January-November 2017, Belarus' export of goods and services surged by 21% over the same period of 2016 to $32.833 billion, BelTA learned from the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

In January-November 2017, Belarus' foreign trade in goods and services amounted to $65.308 billion (up by 20.7% from the same period a year prior). Export of goods and services totaled $32.833 billion (up by 21%); import made up $32.474 billion (up by 20.4%). Belarus had a $358.8 million foreign trade surplus.

Belarus' foreign trade in goods grew up by 23% to $54.092 billion in January-November 2017. Export of goods totaled $25.871 billion (up by 23.3%), import reached $28.220 billion (up by 22.6%). The deficit made up $2.349 billion.

In January-November 2017, Belarus' foreign trade in services totaled $11.215 billion (up 10.9% vs the same period of last year). Export of services amounted to $6.961 billion (up by 13.1%), import came at $4.253 billion (up by 7.4%). The surplus in foreign trade in services in January-November made up $2.708 billion.
