MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) – Belarus calls upon member states of the Eurasian Economic Union to lift barriers that impede access to the market of agricultural products. Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov made the statement during the expanded-participation session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk on 27 October, BelTA has learned.
Andrei Kobyakov said: “Movement towards implementing a coordinated agricultural policy, the removal of barriers that impede access to the market proceeds not as actively as we would like it to. Enterprises and organizations regularly contact the Belarusian government with concerns about peculiarities of working on markets of the Eurasian Economic Union member states in modern conditions. They are also concerned about access to government procurement contracts, the organization of transit and many other things.”
The Eurasian Economic Union was established in order to reduce the number of problems in mutual trade, Andrei Kobyakov reminded.
