MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – The surplus of Belarus' central state budget amounted to Br3.71 billion in January-October 2019, BelTA learned from the Finance Ministry.
Revenues of the central state budget totaled Br20.56 billion or 85.4% of the revised annual target. Proceeds from VAT amounted to Br9.9 billion (85.4% of the target), profit tax – Br3.2 billion (77.1%), excise duties – Br2.3 billion (89.5%). Revenues from foreign trade operations totaled Br3.9 billion (88.3%).
In January-October 2019 the central state budget spent Br16.85 billion (74.9%).
As much as Br6.6 billion (68%) was spent on nationwide activities, Br4.5 billion (79.2%) on financing the national economy, Br12.7 billion (77.6%) on financing the social sphere (social policy, education, healthcare, physical training, sport, culture, and mass media).
The surplus of the public administration sector budget totaled Br5 billion in January-October. Revenues made up Br45.4 billion, or 86.1% of the revised annual target. Expenses stood at Br40.4 billion, or 78.9%.
The surplus of the Social Security Fund budget reached Br0.07 billion, that of the Universal Service Fund – Br31.9 million, the Civil Aviation Fund – Br14.2 million, the Punishment Execution Department Fund – Br0.19 million.
As of 1 November 2019 the arrears on tax and duty payments stood at Br173.9 million.
