MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy urged the Agriculture and Food Ministry to focus on the manufacturing of high-value added products as he spoke at a board ministerial meeting on 5 February, BelTA informs.
“The financial result is most important for us today. We achieved a lot, got more profit last year,” said Mikhail Rusy.
In his words, agricultural organizations need to pay primary attention to such issues as high added value, labor organization, wages, attracting new promising personnel. The vice premier also emphasized as important the preparation of agricultural machinery for the sowing campaign.
Mikhail Rusy noted that the country is actively working to improve the financial performance of its agricultural enterprises. Two decrees, namely No.253 and No.268, were adopted to improve the matters. Belarus is also implementing a state program to develop agrarian business in 2016-2020.
