Amkodor-Mash plant construction to start in May 2018

MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) – The construction of an Amkodor-Mash plant will begin in May 2018, BelTA learned from the official website of the Belarusian company.

The information was posted on the website following the negotiations between Chairman of Amkodor Board of Directors Alexander Shakutin, CITIC Group President Wang Jiong, and Chairman of CITIC Construction Chen Xiaojia in Beijing.

Alexander Shakutin and Wang Jiong discussed the implementation of a project to build the Amkodor-Mash plant. The sides said they are encouraged by the existing business relations and reaffirmed their commitments under the agreements reached previously.

“Wang Jiong is expected to visit Belarus in May 2018 and, probably, take part in a ceremony to inaugurate the company which will become one of Belarus' largest mechanical engineering enterprises,” the post of the website reads.

The negotiations with Chairman of CITIC Construction Chen Xiaojia were held to consider the current status of a project to build a social and business complex in Pobeditelei Avenue in Minsk. December 2018 was set as the deadline for the construction project
