Ambassadors of Belarus, Singapore discuss joint investment projects

MOSCOW, 2 December (BelTA) – The implementation of Belarus-Singapore investment projects was discussed at a meeting between Belarus' Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Semashko and Singapore's Ambassador to Russia Premjith Sadavisan in Moscow on 2 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

“The parties discussed ways to intensify trade and economic cooperation of Belarus and Singapore on a bilateral basis and within the Eurasian Economic Union, prospects of joint investment projects in various sectors,” the press service said.

Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Singapore were established on 12 August 1992. In January-September 2019 the trade between the two countries totaled $33.6 million, up 16.8% year-on-year.
